Egg hunts scheduled for Saturday

Children of all ages are expected to attend Saturday's Easter Egg Hunt at the Armstrong Museum. The event is co sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in cooperation with Walmart. The hunt begins on the museum lawn at 10 a.m.

With fingers crossed the snow will have melted by Saturday, hundreds of brightly colored plastic eggs will be “hidden” on the lawn of the Armstrong Museum, just in time for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the museum and the First United Methodist Church in cooperation with Walmart.

The hunt begins Saturday at 10 a.m.

Volunteers spent time last week stuffing the eggs with an assortment of candies and goodies. Museum officials guarantee there will be eggs enough for all who participate and they will have a candy trade-in opportunity for anyone with a peanut allergy.
