Dianna J. Bell, 75

Dianna J. Bell, 75, of Cridersville, died at 1:03 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health System following a short illness.
She was born Dec. 31, 1937 in Lima, a daughter of Richard C. and Margaret Eva Shinaberry Davisson, who are deceased. Her step-mother Clara Davisson and her step-father Benton Carper are also deceased. On Sept. 4, 1955 she married Truman J. Bell, who survives in Cridersville.
Also surviving are three children; Vicki S. Bell, of Wapakoneta, Douglas A. (Debbie) Bell, of Spencerville, and Michael C. (Jessica) Bell, of St. Marys; nine grandchildren; Shay (Angie) Finn, of Cridersville, Tiffany Finn, of Waynesfield, Trever Triplett, of Wapakoneta, Brittany Jones, of Waynesfield, Cody (Chasidy “Chas”) Bell, Lindsay Bell and McKayla Bell, all of Spencerville, Krystal (Danny) Shreves, of Wapakoneta, and Ashlee Bell, of Stone Mountain, Calif.; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother; Richard B. (Anna Faye) Davisson, of Alburquerque, N.M.; two sisters; Joan Rae (Michael) McGue, of Cridersville, and Cheryl Davisson, of Lima; a step-sister; Beverly Robey, of Lima; and two brother-in-laws; Gene Shaw, of St. Augustine, Fla. and Lynn A. Bell, of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a sister; Karen Sue Shaw; and a step-sister; Pat Mayer.
Dianna was a 1955 graduate of the Lima South High School and worked 27 years as a press operator at the former Hayes-Albion/ Trim Trends Company in Spencerville. She also worked at the J.C. Penney store in the Lima mall. She was a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles Auxiliary Aerie # 691. She enjoyed bowling, Bingo and Casino trips.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Pastor Tom Shobe officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery. Friends may call 2 - 4 p.m. or 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Spencerville, where the Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a memorial at 7:30 p.m.
