A recent contract offer for natural gas to the city is acceptable, but Mayor Rodney Metz says he would like to see a better price as the city of Wapakoneta continues to negotiate 6-month deals instead of annual contracts for its natural gas aggregation program.
“We have information regarding the rate, but it has changed a couple of times as we got closer to a deal for the next six months,” Metz told the Wapakoneta Daily News Sunday.
For more information about the gas rates and deal, see the Monday, Oct. 7 edition of the Wapakoneta Daily News.
