Commissioners seek help with board openings

June 5, 2014

The Auglaize County Commissioners are seeking interested volunteers to serve on a number of boards.

“On most of these boards, we appoint a portion of the members, with the exception of the airport board,”
Commissioner Doug Spencer said. “We now find ourselves — mostly due to term limits — with the need to fill some slots.”

Spencer said the Commissioners are looking for people to step up and serve to ensure the residents of Auglaize County that the county’s obligations are being met. Appointees must be civic-minded and willing to give their time.
