Candace Newland, 41

Candace M. “Candy” Newland, 41, of Waynesfield, left us to be with the Lord at 5:10 p.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born April 20, 1971, in Lima, the daughter of Charoletteann (Howland) and Arnold R. Tippie III. Her mother & step-father, Robert Moye, survive in Waynesfield, and her father is deceased. On Feb. 16, 1994, she married Scott A. Newland Sr., and he survives.
Also surviving are three children, Asia Newland, Austin Newland, and Scott Newland Jr., all at home; a grandson, Gabriel Newland; a step-mother, Rebecca (James) Copus, of Wapakoneta; five siblings, Angelia (Christopher) Zeller, of Waynesfield, Sunnydawn Tippie, of Maumee, Alexandria Crawford, of Waynesfield, Zachariah Tippie, of Wapakoneta, and Jeremiah Tippie, of Wapakoneta; a step-brother, Robert A. Moye, of Ottawa; and a step-sister, Michelle Edgecomb, of Cridersville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron Tippie and Arnold R. Tippie IV.
Candy was a dedicated employee at Rudolph Foods in Westminster the past 12 years. She was a member of the Evening Light Tabernacle in Wapakoneta. She enjoyed crocheting, but her life revolved around worshipping the Lord and spending time with her family especially her children & grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. David Tippie officiating. Burial is to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery near Uniopolis.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund established for her children’s education or the Evening Light Tabernacle.
