None other than Santa Claus himself made a stop in Cridersville on Saturday at the Breakfast with Santa event put on by the Cridersville Lions Club at Cridersville United Methodist Church. The event, which was free to the public, was sponsored by Cridersville Health Care Center, which provided all the food for the special event.

Local children and their parents and family members were greeted by Santa and then got their pictures taken with St. Nick while telling him what they wanted for Christmas. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a breakfast of pancakes and sausage patties.

Cridersville Lions Club President Stacey Cook explained, “In years past when we would go out when I was a kid and get a picture with Santa … your family keeps that picture from year to year and watch you grow. So we offer that so they have kind of a keepsake.”
