Board OKs deal with local historical society

The Waynesfield-Goshen Local School District Board of Education met for their regular meeting in the district offices on Monday evening for what turned out to be a fairly routine meeting.

During the meeting, the Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Wayne-Goshen Historical Society, allowing the Historical Society to use space in the district offices for meetings, collecting and storing historical artifacts.

Through the deal, the WGHSA will develop an electronic storage system for digital copies of pictures and documents, with software that could potentially be shared with the school district, should both parties agree to the exchange.
