Arrest ends in separate citation
An Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated (OVI) arrest in regard to a private property accident occurred at 2:25 a.m. on Saturday at 112 E. Auglaize Street in Wapakoneta. Suspect Lavonda Owens, 42, of Wapakoneta, was driving a 2013 Buick when she allegedly backed up into a parked vehicle. Owens’ blood alcohol content was reportedly .153.

The unoccupied parked vehicle was a 2001 BMW belonging to Jason Cummings, of Wapakoneta.
The report is incomplete and remains under investigation.
While officers were conducting the investigation at 112 E. Auglaize Street in Wapakoneta, a man was cited for disorderly conduct at 2:57 a.m. on Saturday.
Derek George, 33, of Wapakoneta, was yelling expletives at officers.
George was taken to his residence and released.
• At 4:43 a.m. on Friday an officer pulled over Erica Young, 22, of Wapkoneta, at the intersection of Vine Street and Willipie Street. Young was stopped for improper display of register on vehicle, and she was cited for driving under a suspended driver’s license. Young’s vehicle was left at the scene.
• An arrest was made at 5:37 p.m. on Friday at 503 West Benton Street in Wapakoneta. Eric Durst, 50, was arrested on a warrant out of Seneca County for failure to comply with court orders. Durst was taken into custody and taken to Auglaize County Jail for incarceration.
• Wapakoneta police responded to an assault at 1:38 a.m. on Saturday at Perry Street Apartment 14 in Wapakoneta. Adam Frysinger, 29, and Jeff Ihamon, 44, were involved in a mutual dispute about $20.
No one pressed charges.
•A theft was reported at 2:34 p.m. on Sunday at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home. A 48-year-old female from Lima reported a theft. The report is incomplete, pending investigation.
