An area man, who has a passion for farming and agriculture, has a new title in the field.
Ben Seibert was recently named regional credit officer of United Producers Inc. (UPI) Credit Services serving the northern and western Ohio regions. UPI Credit Services continues to offer a wide variety of livestock, crop input, operating expense, equipment, building and real estate loan products.
“I’m just excited to start a new position with a new company,” Seibert said. “I’ll be traveling and meeting new
people and working with growers across Ohio.”
As regional credit officer, Seibert will work with existing loan customers and develop new business throughout northern and western Ohio. In this role, Seibert will actively pursue business development opportunities to cultivate, grow and develop lending relationships with agricultural producers throughout the state.
Seibert, who is a 2002 graduate of Spencerville High School, is a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University, where he earned his degree in agricultural systems management. He has extensive experience working as an agricultural consultant and operations manager for an agricultural cooperative in western Ohio.
Seibert grew up on a farm and this led him to his love for farming and working with livestock.
For his new position, Seibert’s region is west of Interstate 71, which is basically half of Ohio — the north and west portion of the state.
“In addition to his professional background, Ben will also use his personal experience with livestock and grain farming operations in his new role as our regional credit officer,” Credit Services of United Producers Vice President Bob Siegel said. “We are very confident that Ben will be an excellent member of our team.”
Seibert lives outside of Wapakoneta with his wife, Carolyn, and 1-year-old son, Lane.
