Arcadia down W-G baseball

The Waynesfield-Goshen baseball team lost 15-8 to Arcadia in a nonleague contest Thursday.
Evan Miller was 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Dawson Carman had a hit and three walks, and drove in two runs, while Jaden Maxwell had a hit.
Tannery Hurley took the loss for the Tigers.
Coach Travis Wireman said, “I was very proud of the way our guys came out and competed in our first game, and pretty much our first time outside. It was a close game until the very end.”
Wayensfield-Goshen will be at Jackson Center on Saturday at 11 a.m.
