Anna J. Byrne (Kelly), 93, of Carlisle, formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away peacefully Sunday Nov. 17, 2013, surrounded by her children. She was born in Glenwood, the daughter of Cornelius and Sylvia (Sherman) Kelly.
Anna was the youngest of 12 children and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Winfred; a daughter, Kay Forner; and all her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, Patrick (Dianne) and Dana (Rita) Byrne; one daughter, Darla Wharton and Jan (Scott) Clarry; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves a son-in-law, Jerome Forner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the St Mary Catholic Church, Franklin. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St. in Springboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at anderson-fh.com.
