Alice Clayton, 55

Alice Louise Clayton, 55, mother, sister and soon to be Grandma, passed away Jan. 17, 2013, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1957, a daughter of the late Mary Gearing and Walter Scott, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 1, 1977, she married William Clayton, welcoming two loving sons, Jason and Christopher.
Surviving are two sons, Jason (Kaitlyn) Clayton, of Neenah, Wis., and Christopher Clayton, of Plymouth, Wis.; eight brothers and sisters, Larry (Dee) Scott, Carol (Barney) Klosterman, Tom (Joyce) Scott, MaryAnn (Bob) Laughlin, Nancy (John) Nester, Sharon Burden, Allen (Anne) Scott and Lee (Sue) Scott, all of Ohio; her loving dear friends, Sue (Jerry) Toerpe, of Sheboygan, Wis. and Lois (John) Stranz, of Plymouth, Wis.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jerry Burden.
She attended Moulton Elementary School and graduated from St. Marys High School in 1976 in St. Marys. She attended Lakeshore Technical College where she received her realtor’s license.
She was employed at Fischers Cheese in Ohio and transferred to Borden’s Foods in Plymouth, Wis. in 1988. She also worked at Sargento Foods in Plymouth for several years and the last seven years as a realtor for Shorewest Realtors in Sheboygan, Wis..
Alice loved to shop and be with her friends but most of all spending as much precious time with her sons as she could.
She belonged to Elks Club Lodge 299 in Sheboygan and was a former Optimist Club member in Sheboygan, Wis.
Following Alice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held on at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Glynwood.
Inturnment will follow in the parish cemetery.
A memorial fund is being established in her name for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Sheboygan, Wis. or Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, Wis.
Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Plymouth, Wis. is handling arrangements.
