Adrian Settlage, 89

Adrian R. Settlage, 89, 11780 State Route 29, New Knoxville, died suddenly at 4:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born June 27, 1922, on the farm where he currently resided, the son of Ida (Wellman) and William Settlage. On March 6, 1948, he married Martha Maneke, and she survives at the residence.
He is survived by two sons, John A. Settlage, of New Knoxville, and Matthew Settlage, of St. Marys; and five daughters, Patricia Isbell, of Magnolia, Texas, Linda Forrest, of Westerville, Janice Speckman, of New Knoxville, Lois Harrod, of New Knoxville, and Christine Gabel, of New Knoxville.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, with the Rev. Chuck Moeller officiating. Burial, with full military rites performed by Post 444, will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ministry Center of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville.
