15 swimmers move on to districts

February 12, 2013

LIMA —  As the Wapakoneta swim teams took the pool for the Sectional Meet Saturday, most everyone on the team had it as a goal to swim well.

And they did.

An impressive 15 swimmers will compete at the district swim meet in Bowling Green Friday and Saturday.

Eight swimmers from the girls team will travel to Bowling Green State University to compete for a chance to swim at the State Meet in Columbus, Ohio.

Seven swimmers from the boys team are scheduled to swim this weekend, as well.

In total, the Redskins have at least one representative in 19 events at the District Meet.
