Site Selection magazine has released its rankings of the top communities in the nation. Wapakoneta/Auglaize County is in the top 25.
Wapakoneta High School will be selling tournament tickets in advance for its girls and boys games.
Tickets for the girls district semifinal game Thursday against Wauseon will be on sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at WHS. Tickets for the boys game Friday against Upper Sandusky will be on sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday at WHS.
Tickets for both games cost $6 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets at the door for both games will cost $6.
WHS receives a portion of each ticket sold in advance.
COLDWATER — The Ridgemont Golden Gophers survived a valiant effort by the Waynesfield-Goshen to win a 56-55 nailbiter Tuesday in a high school boys basketball Division IV sectional semifinal at Coldwater High School.
Ridgemont's Trevor Stover led all scorers with 21 points. Collin Lowe had 14 for W-G. Cheyne Tate collected 14 rebounds for the Tigers.

Day three of arraignment hearings for the trio charged in the Uniopolis murder case wraps up today as James P. Dinsmore will make his appearance in the Auglaize County Common Pleas Courtroom today.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Auglaize County from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Light freezing rain is possible beginning as or mixing with sleet.
About a tenth if an inch of light ice may accumulate and will change to rain by noon Tuesday.
Light amounts of icing will cause some roads and sidewalks to become slippery. Use caution when outdoors as areas that look wet may be icy. If you must drive, be cautious as you may encounter nice on the roads.
Waynesfield-Goshen High School has offered to pay for students' meals prior to its boys basketball tournament game Tuesday in Coldwater.
The WGHS athletic department will pay for students' meals at McDonald's in Celina between 5:30-6:15 p.m. Tuesday.
This offer is for students only and students must be wearing Waynesfield-Goshen "spirit wear."

Wapakoneta High School has fielded a lot of phone calls about the site of its game Friday, specifically about where it is and how to get there.
The Redskins will play at 8 p.m. Friday at Riverdale High School, which has a Mount Blanchard address but is not in or around the town of Mount Blanchard but rather south of it along Ohio 37.
