William A. âBillâ Davis, 77, formerly of Florida, formerly of Dayton and Wapakoneta, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012.
He was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Dayton, the son of Martha aand Carl J. Davis. He married Barbara J. Davis, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William A Davis Jr.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Halifax Humane Society.

Auglaize County Engineer Doug Reinhart met with Auglaize County commissioners to review budget needs for the sewer, geographical information systems, tax map department and highway budgets for the upcoming year.
The sewer district budget is to increase by 10 percent to approximately $204,000, primarily due to employment changes within the department.

WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield Village Council members unanimously voted Monday to create a new village position.
Officially the position will be a new class of general laborer. The person hired to the position will have the responsibility of general village maintenance.
WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield Village Council members continue to move forward with bringing natural gas to the northeast Auglaize County community.
Councilors heard the second reading of an ordinance Monday allowing the mayor to enter an agreement with Fanning/Howey & Associates to move forward with design plans to bring natural gas to the community.
Judith Ann Pulfer Golden, 62, of Cridersville, died at 12:16 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at her residence.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerardâs Catholic Church in Lima. Burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.
Regina M. âJeanâ King, 98, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
