Constance “Connie” Eberle, 77

Constance “Connie” Eberle, 77, of 1910 Heritage Court, Saint Marys, Ohio, died suddenly on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 26, 1937, in Bellefontaine, the daughter of Hod and Verna (Lamb) Naugle.

She married Cloyd Eberle on July 7, 1967, and he survives at the residence.

Melissa Stolz Schlarman, 49, of Bismarck, N.D. and formerly of Celina, died July 6, 2014, at Standford Hospital in Bismarck. She was born Dec. 8, 1964, in Celina, to Marvin Stolz and Rita Piper, who survive in Celina. Also surviving in Celina is her step-mother, Diana Bruggeman, and step-father, Steve Phillips. She was formerly married to Joe Schlarman, who survives in Powell, Ohio.

Mary Rose Pruitt, 84, of Brandon, Fla., died at 6:25 a.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014, under hospice care. She was born on May 31, 1930, in Auglaize County, to Elbert and Emma (McElroy) Edmiston, who preceded her in death.

Everette E. Fannon, 92

Everette E. Fannon, 92, of 219 East Second Street, Rockford, Ohio, died at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the Laurels of Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford.

He was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Saint Marys, the son of Lee and Ruth (Fee) Fannon. He married Gloria Holtzapple on July 3, 1946, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 30, 2005.

Fawn L. Carnes Purtee, 48

July 7, 2014

Fawn L. Carnes Purtee, 48, of Alger, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 3:55 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born Dec. 17, 1965, in Lima, to Richard E. and Naomi R. Morlock Carnes. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta. On July 10, 1997, she married Jim Purtee, who survives.

She is also survived by children, Shelby, Kyle and Jesse, all at home; a brother, Victor Carnes, of Michigan; and a sister, Tami Zwez, of Wapakoneta.

Karen S. Wireman, 56

Karen S. Wireman, 56, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:06 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014, at her residence. She was born Feb. 13, 1958, in Lima, the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia (Reier) Watters, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 15, 1979, she married John Wireman, and he died Dec. 28, 2009.

Survivors include, a son, Joe (Andrea) Wireman, of Wapakoneta; two granddaughters, Savannah and Delani Wireman; a brother, Eric (Deb) Watters, of Celina; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Arthea G. ‘Kitty’ Ziegler, 77

Arthea G. ‘Kitty’ Ziegler, 77, of Summerville, Ga. and formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Redmond Regional Hospital. She was born April 26, 1937, in Lima, to the late Arthur Monroe and Grace Davidson Bowersock. She is preceded in death by three husbands, Gordon Rick, Bob Wells and Jan Ziegler.

Jerry L. Craft, 75, of Wapakoneta, died at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at his residence.  He was born March 10, 1939, in Lima, the son of Emil and Eleanor (Phalen) Craft, who preceded him in death.

Helen Maxine Price, 91

Helen Maxine Price, 91, of 16542 Mendon Road in Ohio City, Ohio, died at 6:14 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 24, 1922, near Mendon, Ohio, to Harry and Cecile (Terwilliger) Valentine.

On Dec. 5, 1945, in Ohio City, she married David Eugene Price, who survives.

Odella A. Braun, 85, of rural Botkins, died at 8:24 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Rhine, Ohio, the daughter of John and Anna Marie (Steinke) Greve, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 27, 1952, she married Ardeen F. Braun, and he survives.
